Like you, I’ve seen a lot of changes in alternative medicine through the years. And although I always sought to support my beliefs with science I’ve gone from being an enthusiastic supporter to a cautious optimist to an outright skeptic.
But I’m not the only thing that’s changed in “natural” health. We’ve all watched as product after product was trotted out, touted as the next big thing, and then slowly allowed to fade—only to be replaced by the next miracle pill, exotic fruit drink or magic potion.
Today, the LisaBarger.com family of websites covers more than a dozen websites, a handful of books and thousands of articles on everything from natural health scams to scientific research on herbal remedies.
