We Carried This Story A Week Ago...

Lisa Barger
As I write this, the top health story on the Reuters.com web site is on the recent report by ConsumerLab.com concerning spiked, mislabeled or otherwise “bad” multi-vitamin supplements. Regular readers of LisaBarger.com, however, read this story here—more than a week ago.
The most interesting thing to me … Reuters chose to spin the topic as a “vitamins are bad for you” story while we chose a completely different angle. Ours was that you don’t have to spend a lot of money for “designer” supplements hawked through your friendly neighborhood MLMer. Discount store brands like Centrum ® and Flintstones ® are just fine. (Most of the “failed” products were supplements sold through mail-order or at specialty shops.)
Thanks to everyone who read this story first, here. I know there are a of web sites out there competing for your time. Thanks for choosing mine.
