Lisa Barger AloeCure
“What do you think about the aloe cure stuff on tv?”
I’m very interested in seeing what happens to AloeCure, especially as they make it onto the FDA’s “radar”. At first glance, it seems intriguing but we have some real problems with the way it’s being marketed. For instance, this product is marketed as a dietary supplement but promises to “buffer” stomach acid. It also promises to replace “prescription medications” that you may using to “cure” a variety of digestive complaints. Further, it goes so far as to actually “immediately treat” those conditions itself. If these claims don’t cross well into the realm of illegal drug claims, they come awfully close. It will be interesting to see how the FDA looks at AloeCure.
Other than that, there’s not a lot we can say. We simply don’t have enough information on AloeCure at this time to make a judgement one way or the other. We can find NO supporting documents for any of their claims and no reviews from any credientialed health experts who have used or recommended the products to their own patients.
So we ask you, do YOU think it’s a scam?

I haven't bought and tried the product yet, but I did see the commerical yesterday and decided to do some research on it. Haven't found much info yet, but the coupld sites I did find seems to think fairly well of it. It's not a miracle product, but does seem to comfort digestive problems and is healthy for you. One site said that it's effective, but practically the same thing as straight AloeVera juice, which is a lot cheaper...but then right behind it another site said it had more healing components than just the juice alone. So I don't know. The commerical was offering two free bottles yesterday, just pay shipping and handling, so I think Imma try it and see!

If you DO try it and would be interested in sharing your thoughts about it, please come back and do that. I'm sure our readers would love to hear about how it worked for you.
I tried it and it didn't even put a dent in my heartburn once my prescription ran its course. They kept sending me their product even though I cancelled and they forced me to pay return shipping ($40 including shipping to me). Their customer service was not nice or helpful at all. Personally, I think the entire thing is a scam and once they realize you aren't going to buy their snake oil anymore they stop caring about you.
Thanks for letting us know. I'm sorry to hear they ran you through the wringer like that. It may not make you feel any better, but you may have saved other people a lot of hassle by sharing your experience.
About.com did an article on AloeCure - http://altmedicine.about.com/od/heartburn/a/aloecure.htm. I know you can also get it on amazon.com, where I got it. It worked pretty well for me, but I only suffer from mild heartburn. I also know you're not supposed to totally go off your meds while trying Aloecure, just slowly.
I'll try to keep this short and sweet. I had a bad case of GERD (Gastroesophagal Acid Reflux Disease) a couple of years ago that felt like a heart attack. I searched the internet for alternatives to help ease my pains. My mother suggested I try drinking aloe vera juice but straight aloe vera juice, although beneficial, is just awful!. Alas, I came across Aloe Cure on the internet. I read all the testimonies. I thought "what the heck, I'd give it a try"...a month later, I saw the infomercial, and I smiled. Now, 2 years after that first GERD attack and my first try of Aloe Cure - No heartburn or acid reflux attacks. I still take Aloe Cure religiously just as recommended on the bottle and I love it. I don't take any prescriptions or any over the counter medicine for my stomach acid, and haven't had any acid reflux attacks since that first scary attack back in 2007. I know not all products works the same for each individual, but it does work for me. It's my everyday supplement!!. I'd be afraid to quit now... If they could only lower that price per bottle! Take care....
I tried it and I felt much worst. Even tough I canceled the order after a few days of use they shipped me another one month supply, and I have to cover the cost of shipping it back. There costumer service is nasty and do not believe in there statement:
After you try AloeCure, if for any reason during the 14 day trial period you are dissatisfied, simply call 1.800.671.4180 or write the Customer Service Department at customerservice@aloecure.com Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm EST and you will never be billed
You will be billed
Thanks again to everyone's taken a few minutes to weigh in. Peggy, I'm glad it's working for you. I've never had GERD but I understand it's just miserable.
Greg, I'm really sorry that the customer service is such a pain in the you-know-what. Unfortunately, as you probably already know, quite a few people are reporting trouble getting the shipments and billing to stop.
I have been taking ALoe Cure for about 2 years. I began taking it when I was diagnosed with IBS ( Irratable Bowel Syndrome) and Gastritis. I was having a bad time. I came across AloeCure on TV and decided to take it. Along with the bottle comes a little cup and I would take one full every morning. I know some ppl have said that ALoecure did not work for them, but as I observed and like all meds or supplementals, it takes a little time. You can drink up as much as you want. For those with really bad Acid Reflux, you may need to also take a little more and wait a bit to see results. I've also noticed it helps me better when I take some before bed time if I'm having some acid problems, as well as taking some when you get up before any meal.
But I guess, overall, it all depends on the individual. So far, Aloe Cure has been working for me. I actually showed it to my Gastroantologist who looked at the ingredients and mentioned nothing wrong about it. Although he made a face because I think he realized he was looking at competition as if worried he would not have business if the "word" got around Aloe Cure. Consider, perhaps, taking and showing the ingredients to your Doctor.See what they say.
Thanks, Mercedes.
