Yes, I read that article and, no, I don’t believe it. Beer doesn’t even contain enough phytoestrogens to use in scientific tests; I see no reason to believe that its phytoestrogen content would have any significant effect on the human body.

No, it’s not. Crohn’s disease is an autoimmune disease and while certain drugs and foods are associated with increased flare-ups, legitimate experts tell us that there’s probably nothing you can do to “give” yourself Crohn’s.
