Disclosure

Because we believe in accountability here are a few things we’d like you to know about LisaBarger.com:
  • This site is owned by Lisa Barger.
  • Neither Lisa Barger nor anyone associated with LisaBarger is associated with any multi-level-marketing (MLM) company.
  • No one associated with LisaBarger.com takes money to write paid reviews.
  • No one associated with LisaBarger.com accepts any income, “rewards” or any other incentives from any person, manufacturer or retailer with a vested interested in our articles.
This site does serve ads and here’s what you need to know about them:
  • This site may serve ads through Google’s AdSense programs.
  • This site may serve ads through Amazon’s Associates Program.
  • This site may serve “affiliate” ads through a 3rd party service such as LinkShare.
Why do we bother telling you all this? Well, the vast majority of web sites and blogs out there are designed to do one of two things—they’re either trying to sell you something outright or “warm you up” to buying something through an affiliate link.

We think that’s dishonest. Even worse are the blogs and sites that take money to write a review but don’t tell you that the “honest” review you just read was actually paid for by the company who makes or sells it.

We don’t do that here because we don’t think you can trust an opinion that’s been paid for. And that was our stand long before it became the law.

So, About Lisa's Resume . . .

Due to privacy concerns—and the fact that LisaBarger.com does not actually provide medical services—we no longer publish Lisa’s resume or CV online. We will, however, happily provide it to private consulting clients.

Why did we take this stand? Here’s Lisa’s answer: Well, I’m not a celebrity by any stretch but—unlike the vast majority of people doing what I do—I really do use my real name. And as you can imagine, this has led to numerous attempts at identify theft over the years. But it’s also provided a lot of ammunition for critics on both sides of the alternative medicine issue. Some have pointed to my studies at Harding University as proof that I’m not “natural” enough to be taken seriously by the alternative medicine crowd while others point to my studies at Clayton and GCNM as proof that I’m not “legit” enough for the mainstream medicine crowd.

So please forgive this wannabe hermit for wanting just a little bit of privacy and not putting all the gory details up for public consumption.
