Ten months after being placed on a list of known tainted sexual enhancement products by the US Food and Drug Administration, or FDA, "all natural" "supplement" Silver Bullet is finally recalled.

In its press release announcing the recall, distributor Nature's RX admitted that FDA tests on the product had uncovered hidden sildenafil in the supposedly all natural supplement. Sildenafil is, of course, the active ingredient in drugs like Viagra.

Nature's RX insist that it has received no reports of anyone taking the supplement and being injured. As always one of the fears is that men could take this product and suffer a life threatening drop in blood pressure as a result of the hidden drug ingredient.

This recall covers only 10-capsule packs with one lot number:

  • Silver Bullet 10 Male Enhancement Capsules with expiry code 11/2022 and lot code 01251ZX1.
As of my last visit to the company's website ( this morning, I can still find no notice of the recall.
